How ClickBank Works
Anyone can join ClickBank as an affiliate
or as a vendor. If you are new to Clickbank
we recommend that you join as an affiliate
and it is FREE. When you find a product that
you wish to promote, either at a vendor's
website or by searching through the
Clickbank Marketplace, you will be given
a unique link. You will use this link to
bring customers to the product page.

Opening a Clickbank account.
The first thing you need to do is to
sign up for a ClickBank account. This
information is needed so that ClickBank can
send you payments. It's free to open an
account and very simple.
Getting paid.
ClickBank pay periods end on the 1st and
16th of each month. Checks are mailed within
15 days after the end of the period. Full

Tip: you can
alter the minimum payment setting (default
$100) in your account. But note that a $2.50
accounting fee is deducted from each check
issued.

Now you are ready to promote ClickBank
products and earn commission.
Choosing the product
To see the complete range visit the
ClickBank Marketplace.
The Marketplace listings are ranked by
popularity, so you can easily see which are
the in-demand items. You can also use the
"Search the Clickbank Marketplace" block to
find the right product for you to market in
your online business. Use the drop-down
categories and sub-categories, the keyword
search engine, and the sort by function to
find digital products. Once you find a
product of interest, click the "view pitch
page" under the product to see how the
product will be seen by the customers.
Check the stats under each product to
determine how much you can earn for
converted customer referrals. Once you have
a product you want to promote, click "create
HopLink" under the product to get your
unique link to use.
Visit the order page and ensure that your
nickname appears in the [affiliate= ] line
at the bottom of the order page. If not then
you may have incorrectly formatted your link
or it's possible that the affiliate program
has been discontinued. Or, the affiliate
program is only for selected items at the
site not the one you have chosen.
Similarly you should periodically check that
your links are working. ClickBank does not
have a method to inform affiliates and
vendors that links that they set up are not
working
In addition to offering individual
products (as shown in section 4.1) you can
link to a storefront containing the
Marketplace products - each one encoded with
your own affiliate link.

What is a storefront ?
A ClickBank storefront is like a shopping
mall which displays the products from the
ClickBank Marketplace. Storefront products
may offer a variety of features like
customizable appearance to match your own
site, a search box installed at your
site, powerful search facilities of the
Marketplace and embedded search links at
your site to a keyword or to a Marketplace
subcategory
How do you make money from a storefront ?
When you purchase a storefront every
product is encoded with your affiliate link.
You receive full affiliate commission for
any product purchased. This makes it a high
demand product for ClickBank affiliates and
you can even join the storefront affiliate
program and collect commission for sales of
the storefront itself.
The key to success with a storefront is to
send visitors directly to a niche page that
matches your target market as opposed to
sending them to the storefront home page
which displays all the products in the
storefront.

Marketing Clickbank Products
There are many ways you can use to market
your Clickbank products in your online
business. You can use your affiliate link in
your signature of your emails, write
articles that you submit to online article
sites for free. You can also add the links
in your website if you have a site.
If you want fast results, you most likely
will use Pay Per Click or other paid
marketing. Pay Per Click is one of the most
popular ways to market Clickbank products,
but also one of the more difficult ways. If
you want to use pay Per Click, it is highly
recommended that you invest in
Google Cash. It will give you a good
understanding of how Google Adwords work and
how to best use it with Clickbank.
